TXT is looking for a Senior Functional Tester to work in its Banking & Finance Business Unit, for the expansion of its team.
Main responsibilities: the candidate will structure the tasks as defined in the test strategy in terms of business domain requisites. The candidate will be in charge of analysis of the system with sufficient detail to ensure that the quality expectations of users are met. Evaluation of system requisites in order to assess their validity. He or she will also determine and execute the testing activities and file a report on their advancement.
The candidate will support the customer in compliance assessments.
Additionally: the candidate will review and contribute to the drafting of test plans. He or she will analyse, review and evaluate user requisites, specifications and models for their testability. The candidate will create specific tests, collaborate in the configuration of the testing environment, determine and collect the test data, implement tests on all levels, execute and construct test logs, evaluating their result and reporting discrepancies from expected results. He or she will use management, administrative and testing tools as required. The candidate will also be in charge of reviewing test cases developed by others.
Technical Qualifications Required:
- SQL knowledge;
- Experience in Office suite;
- Experience in the use of one of the leading test management tools (e.g. HPE ALM/QC, IBM Rational, Jira ...);
- Economic and Bank-related competencies to meet the requirements for business-oriented testing procedures (Exploratory Testing, Scenarios, Usability Testing, Understandability Testing);
-Knowledge of a specific application domain (e.g. Loans, Cards, Payments, Finance etc.)
Other preferred competencies include a good command of English, good communicative and reporting skills, accuracy and a knack for problem solving.
Degree: three-year or five-year degree in scientific subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Engineering) or in Economy-related subjects (Bank studies, Economy...) or similar education background.
