We are currently searching for a Head of Client Finance, to work within the Italian unit of a renowned Multinational, leader in the Financial Industry. The resource will lead and be accountable for the performance of the Finance team providing proactive professional advice on all aspects of financial management accounting to a broad client portfolio. He/she will contribute to meeting overall departmental profit targets and will be the local Client Finance point of reference with other European colleagues.
Responsibilities:
• Accountable for all Client Finance activities in the country
• Shape the client accounting strategy across the portfolio of clients to maximize service to client accountant portfolio
•Delegate business development and client accounting development opportunities to the client accounting team and oversee realization of the opportunities
•Develop a new Client Finance business model and establish strong working relationships with outsourced service providers and shared service centers
•Leverage financial expertise and know how to build long standing client relationships
•Accountable for quality and accuracy of all client reporting
•Effectively use established systems for accounting and financial planning and reconciliation
•Ensure work complies with firm procedures and guidelines (health & safety, quality, risk, professional code of conduct, etc.)
•Build a network across EMEA client accounting functions to share knowledge and leverage best practice
•Coach and develop the client accounting team to broaden the client experience
Candidate Profile
Master Degree
Significant team leadership and management experience
In depth experience in accounting and financial management disciplines
A strong understanding of business development and client relationship management
Business report writing experience
IT skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet)
Excellent command of written/verbal English
