International Sales Director Leisure Southern Europe

We are currently looking for an International Director of Leisure Sales for Southern Europe. He/she will report to the Director of NH Collection/nhow and International Sales Southern Europe, will be based in either Milan, Rome or Madrid and will travel frequently.

The Director of International Leisure Sales will be maximizing sales in both revenue and room-night terms for the company through the key leisure accounts such as Luxury Tour Operators, Consortias High End programs, Luxury Retail Agencies , Private Concierge companies, High End Leisure groups etc...

He/she will manage some specific International markets ( UK, Russia)in the MICE segment and will also lead and manage key promotional activities to raise the awareness of the Preimium brands (special focus on NHC, nhow brands and some other MINOR Premium brands) as the No.1 choice within the Leisure market in all our key locations in Southern Europe.

Main responsabilities

- Assist and represent NH Hotel Group - MINOR in all relevant industry events defined in the BUSE action plan and also to the Worldwide Leisure and MICE industry;

- Grow Account portfolio of NH managed and unmanaged accounts: coordinate the relationship and ensures highest ROI on the partnership with PH&R / Traveller Made at region level; coordinate calls with Property sales teams & GMs BUSE to update on BUSE news and need hotels in order to provide business progress on her/his accounts and segments etc.; negotiate International activities, plan ahead and do business development of new Leisure / M&E accounts + Leisure / M&E events in order to be included on the outbound sales activity plan 2019; and action plan to bring new leads to key Premium Hotels in Southern Europe;

- Initiate and conduct regular sales-review meetings and regular training as agreed (even overseas) with key Leisure Tour operators and agencies to ensure a full understanding of the NH product;

- Plan and execute activities within the NH Hotel Group methodology and given budget to optimize the assigned portfolio results and achieved yearly targets;

- Work together with all GSF offices and Business Units in the global account strategies, identifying opportunities for BUSE & Globally and coordinating and leading efforts to animate PoS assigned;

- Review in monthly bases the company reports and figures to re-asses the actions and activities to be execute;

- Manage weekly the Leads Pipeline to maximize conversion and work in a collaborative manner with hotels & GSOs to turn leads to "Definite" status;

- Organize & coordinate famtrips for Southern Europe hotels;

- Build and update S&M plans for key BUSE hotels, new openings and need hotels;

- Update administrative and commercial templates when requested;

- Solicit, organize and be involved in any site inspections for BUSE hotels ensuring the attendance and assistance of NH Sales/ operation teams.

Required profile

Education & Professional Experience

- Tourism, Business or Administration Degree (postgraduate degrees will be valued as an asset)

- A minimum of 5 years of sales in hospitality industry with previous experience in Leisure High End Sales and M&E segments

Technical Skills

- Proficiency level of English & Italian/Spanish/Russian

- Knowledge of tools such as SAP, Agency 360, Duetto

- Good broad-based knowledge of US, UK, Russia and ASAP

- Understanding of different segments with special focus on Tour Operator, High End Consortias/ Retail High End agencies & M&E accounts
