Ali Professional, Business Unit of Ali SpA, specialized in Head Hunting for Manager / Director profiles, is supporting a HIGH-TECH Asian Company with focus on POWER ELECTRONICS for Industrial B2B (EPC) Clients. For the new R&D Center near Saronno (Norther MILAN), I am looking for the Position of:
HARDWARE DESIGNER - POWER ELECTRONICS (SENIOR)
This challenging Position will report to the R&D Director based in Italy and will has interface with HQ / other R&D Centers in Asia.
MAIN TASKS
Modern Power Electronic Devices IGBT / MOSFET (Si, SiC and GaN) and familiar with High Power / Voltage (1500V) design
Autonomously design schematic of Driver, Protection Circuits, Power Conversion topologies
Familiar with Sizing the POWER devices, Thermal Design and Simulations
Familiar with design of SMPS for Power CONVERTERS
Working Experience in simulation of Power Electronic circuits in MATLAB / SIMULINK, PSiM, SPICE
Familiar with all IEC / EN / UL / any other relevant standards for design of PE Converters and Solar Converters
Working Knowledge of EMI / EMC design and testing
Familiar with debugging and troubleshooting PE Circuits
Should be able to use the standard Laboratory Instrumentation for Testing and Measurement
Knowledge of Component suppliers
Experience in designing of Magnetics, Filters and other power components
Familiar with FMEA methods
SKILLS REQUESTED
5-10 years experience
Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering (Power Electronics)
strong in designing High Power Solar converters, Inverter drives,
Good/Fluent in English
