e-workspa are looking for Ebay; proactive candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit and deep understating of the C2C online selling dynamics that will be required to sharpen our value proposition, convey the right messages and set up ambitious and strategic partnerships to foster growth of the C2C business by turning more buyers into sellers and strengthening our current seller base while working in a matrix org. The position will report to the Head of C2C of Italy and Spain.
Primary Responsibilities:
Grow the C2C business by defining, in collaboration with the Marketing team, the right marketing strategy and content, value proposition and customer journey with the objective of acquiring new sellers, convert eBay buyers in sellers and scale existing sellers
Set the seller acquisition and seller retention goals, monitor KPIs ecc
Build the selling calendar by identifying relevant selling moments (i.e Spring Cleaning) and events i.e. Earth Day, Lucca Comix ecc
Identify opportunities to grow sales and sellers per vertical in i.e Fashion, Electronics, Collectibles and Arts, Books and Media
Identify and execute on partnership opportunities and innovation projects with the goal of either simplify shipping and selling or growing in certain verticals i.e by setting up partnerships with vertical marketplace/blogs/communities, including offline fairs/marketplace
Define the marketing/comms plan and content for existing sellers and set up varied initiatives to help driving the business of C2C sellers, including webinars, seller events, dedicated seller campaigns with the goal of growing their business
Directly work with sellers to generate educational content and identify creative ways to boost their business
Generate leads of prospect second hand sellers that could join eBay and have the chance to directly deal with them
Generate insights and drive market research to identify opportunities to boost the C2C business
Key Requirements:
At least 6-8 years experience in digital marketing/business development with proven experience in C2C in either a marketplace, classified or other second hand business
Master Degree in Management, Business administration, Digital marketing or similar
Strong strategic mindset
Proactive, able to work independently, deal with ambiguity, and meet deadlines in a fast moving environment focused on results
Strong entrepreneurial spirit, not afraid to take bold moves with a hands-on approach
Self-starter with strong work ethic, detail-oriented, reliable and flexible
Strong organizational and project management skills; strong in cooperation and coordination of multiple tasks and several stakeholders
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Practical problem solver
Fluent in English and Italian (Spanish is a plus)
Strong Excel
Excellent PowerPoint
Excellent team player
Passionate about selling online
eBay seller is a strong plus
