Data Analyst
Location: Italy, Office in Milan
Here is a breakdown of what youll be doing:
Transform large and complex datasets into pragmatic and actionable insights.
Support the company and our stakeholders with observational studies, making inference from historical data; make your results clear to non-technical roles and influence their decision-making process.
Contribute to the improvement of our predictive and analytics models; support the team understanding business stakeholder needs and developing new solutions.
Collaborate with Data Engineers to improve data models and scale up statistical and ML prototypes.
The type of person we are looking for:
Minimum 1-2 year of experience in a relevant role
Masters (or equivalent working experience) in a quantitative field (computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering, economics, etc.)
Experience solving real problems using data mining techniques
Solid working experience with Python and/or R for statistical computing; good knowledge of at least one data manipulation and ML libraries/framework (pandas, numpy, sklearn, tidyverse, caret, H2O, etc...)
Good knowledge of SQL queries
Some exposures to Big Data Analytics Platforms will be considered a plus (BigQuery, Hue, Hive, Impala, etc)
Good communication skills: ability to translate complex findings into clear results for non-technical business stakeholders
