We are currently recruiting, for the Italian unit of a prestigious global Company, leader in the IT Industry (web search engine, mail provider, web services, hardware products ecc.), based in Milan, a:
DBA SQL Server
Qualifications:
1. Technical proficiency in all supported SQL Server versions (On-prem and Cloud) including SQL IaaS/PaaS/MI. Experience in Administering SQL Server.
2. Migration and upgrading from previous version of SQL Server
3. Experience working with SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery options including Always on Failover Cluster Instances, Microsoft Always on Availability Groups, Replication, Log Shipping, auditing, encryption and security. Advanced Performance Tuning and troubleshooting skills
4. Deep understanding of TSQL queries, Stored procedures, Triggers, Functions, Transactions, Locking, and Blocking, in memory tables, indexing.
5. 5+ years of success in consultative/complex technical and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation.
6. Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or highly strategic accounts. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects.
7. Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence IT teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects.
8. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, IT management, Administrators).
