FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

Leading Company in its market sector and belonging to a successful multinational Group listed at the German Stock Exchange, in order to support its expansion in Italy, is looking for a

FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

which, as part of the Finance team, will be responsible for the Controlling and Accounting process related to a close group of associated companies. The position will also operate on behalf of European Head Quarter with the aim to ensure the achievement of the business results of the Italian companies, ensuring the proper progress and the development of new initiatives.

 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

·       Manage and guarantee monthly closing and reporting activities (accounting and controlling) of the Group’s associates in Italy

·       Analyse the actual figures and deviation from the forecast and budget, providing relevant explanations

·       Guide the budgeting and forecasting processes

·       Ensure that all the reports necessary for the business are produced on schedule and that all the controls on the finance side are carried out

·       Collaborate with the associated Companies in order to automatize and optimize accounting, reporting, procedure and existing and newly created tools

·       Ensure the compliance with current regulations and Group guidelines

·       Support the activities of the Board, Statutory Auditors and Auditors, assuring that all relevant information is provided

·       Understand processes and procedures, carry out ad-hoc business analysis, simulate scenarios, test and validate cases in support of the decisional process

·       Contribute to special projects that are assigned from time to time

IS REQUIRED

Technical skills

·       In-depth skills in the management control, accounting and administration

·       Knowledge of the financial reports and local accounting standards and IFRS

·       Strong analytical attitude and attention to details

·       Experience in reporting activities (definition, implementation, interpretation)

·       Excellent knowledge of MS Office (in particular Excel)

·       Good intercultural and relationship skills, ability to ask and obtain

Education and previous experience

·       Economic or Management Engineering Degree

·       At least / minimum 3 years of experience in the area of financial controlling for multinational companies

Languages 

·       Fluent Business English

·       German knowledge will also be a plus
