IT Senior Backend developer SGIMI01/20
You have several years of experience in developing microservice-architectures
You are familiar with RESTful APIs and cloud strategie
You are creative, your mindset is customer oriented, you are an excellent communicator and you have a strong interest in continued improvement
You have a solid conceptual understanding of functional programming principles and proficiency in JavaScript.
You have a solid knowledge of SQL, noSQL and node.js
You have in-depth knowledge of server-side web technology
You pay attention to detail and preference for clean & quality code
You have practical experience with Kubernetes , Docker, CI/CD, bash, network security and cloud systems (ideally AWS)
You work well in an agile environment (SCRUM) but you also know how to deliver great results on your own
You are an expert in CI/CD pipelines and have worked in groups of 5+ developers to build out CI/CD tooling and create the culture that leads to it’s consistent usage.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead serverless API development
Building scalable solutions using serverless technology
Improve general UI/UX of our products
Shaping the software development process with regard to quality and implementation cycles, e.g. by implementation of CI/CD, Pair-Programming and test driven development
Supporting the development and coaching of the team-members, e.g. by Pair-Programming
Work directly with the CTO, bringing your expert knowledge and well-founded opinions to the table in all backend-related design decisions.
