Main Functions and Responsibilities
• Provide mentoring and consultancy to the European Service Line and Industry leaders
• Work in partnership with the Global Marketing team to ensure business development activity is aligned and collaboration encouraged
• Support the Regional Leadership in any Business Development and Marketing strategy/initiative
• Manage the Regional databases and ensure all collateral and marketing data is up-to-date and readily available
• Develop key client and industry relationships knowledge and provide support to cross-country opportunities through credentials and relationships
• Manage the firm's external events, ensuring opportunities are identified and maximized
• Manage the execution of webinar broadcasts
• Handle Institutional Relations with Business Associations, organizations and public bodies when necessary
• Provide contribution, and where necessary lead, to ensure all major opportunities in terms of Marketing and BD are effectively handled, supporting those partners and lawyers involved in major business development activity
• Encourage the international acknowledge with campaigns, client alerts, events etc. there is a need to identify and share the most relevant opportunities on an ongoing basis and help to plug in the contributors
• Oversee the developments in directories and awards in Europe
• Support and collaborate with Marketing and BD Team leaders in each of the European jurisdictions
The Candidate
• 5/7 years of experience in a Tax/Legal Firm looking to expand their role in an international organization
• Knowledge of Marketing/BD processes - a sound understanding of new business processes, CRM as a concept and the emerging technologies needed to help us win and retain clients' legal work
• Marked interest and experience in marketing analysis and strategy
• A proven ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information
• Excellent communication skills, being able to communicate confidently and effectively at all levels
• Be able to multi-task and work to deadlines, as well as thrive in a robust and fast-paced environment
• Must be graduated; a degree in marketing or related field is not essential, but will be considered a plus
• Excellent knowledge of the English language
