I am currently searching for a Product Developer, to work within the Italian unit of a renowned Multinational, leader in the fashion industry.

Key responsibilities:

Conduct research and sourcing for development of in-house collection and ad-hoc projects
Follow up the development process and sample order process
Attend trade shows, research and source material / techniques that are relevant to customer specific requirements and service standard
Develop new techniques and treatment
Support and handle sample development / mock-ups via effective coordination with sample rooms and suppliers
Identify product quality issues and resolve the problem (including price negotiation)
Communicate with our design team to understand their idea and translate it into a technical term for factory technician
Key requirements:

Degree

University Graduate in Fashion Design or related discipline, majoring in knit would be an advantage
Minimum 5 years of solid experience in sweater design or merchandising
Strong technical knowledge in sweater knit
Good sense of styling and fitting
Familiar with production development process ranges from ready-to-wear and high-end fashion
Enthusiastic for development and good sense of responsibility
Good command in English and Italian
Willing to travel to other cities for suppliers' visit in Italy
Strong organizing and analytical skills, energetic and willing to work as part of a team

Proposal
One year fixed term contract
Gross Annual Salary to be defined, commensurate with the experience in the role.
