Summary statement
Manages a team of technical specialists that are responsible for the implementation of technical systems, software, hardware or solutions. Oversees and supports multiple implementation projects. May also be responsible for Project Management Office (PMO) activities such as methodology development, project quality assurance and competency development.

Mission
SAP technical basis lead highly experienced to supplement the implementation of a new SAP S4 HANA suite of applications to support the upgrade and migration of 12 European legal entities on to one common EMEA SAP template, the SAP template is based around a service industry operating model, following the “Bluefield” approach.
SAP technical basis lead highly will provide mentoring to our internal SAP basis support team, together with supporting our SAP system integrator to coordinate the delivery of all SAP basis programme deliverables related to the S4HANA project on the SAP Technology: S4H 1909 + CPM, BWoH, BPC 11.1, Solman 7, SCP.

The candidate will:

·        Work across programme and senior IT stakeholders to architect and advice on SAP technical delivery.

·        Lead and facilitate workshops to gather and manage programme technical requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.

·        Define programme SAP BOM working with SAP and SI

·        Define SAP MaxAttention assurance RACI

·        Audit existing SAP EMEA estate to support a) sizing b) TCO reduction benefit case

·        Support design and assure delivery of interim S4/CPM sandbox and Bluefield ECC COPY.

·        Support sizing and design of future state EMEA SAP private cloud Azure hosting.

·        Define SAP basis required outcomes and track in JIRA.

·        Define SAP basis quality plan.

·        Define system and client architecture with SI.

·        Define standard template API technical requirements (ECC HCM, SF, Concur, Legacy finance)

·        Develop and manage technical delivery plan for template phase.

·        Define interim transport management strategy.

·        Coordinate all SAP basis activity in support of SI, such as system copies and patching.

·        Support SAP EMEA service design .

·        Support enterprise architect with overarching EMEA design and proactive change advisory board. 

Location:   Milan with European travel
