Adecco Financial Services is hiring for a prestigeous Insurance Company providing integrated services, based in UK and operating in Italy
Underwriter
You will:
- be the point of contact with Underwriters and insurance intermediaries (brokers, agents) and you will provide with quotations, indications or details of terms and conditions, support
- prepare, arrange and check proposal forms, full policy schedules, wordings, endorsements and other documentation, ensuring that they are issued (internally and externally) accurately and on time
- Implement the business strategy and aims of the division and report on these at the appropriate meetings
- Liaise with accounts department regarding payment of premiums
- Provide back-up broking as required
Competences
- Experience in the role
- Knowledge of the regulatory framework governing insurance, the systems, documentation and procedures of the Lloyd's, London Insurance and Reinsurance Markets
- Experience and understanding of Healthcare Liability (Medical Malpractice), Professional Liability, SMEs Directors and Officers Liability & other classes of business
- Previous experience working for a Lloyd's Coverholder and/or Lloyd's Broker
Qualifications and languages
- Bachelor's degree in Economics or Law
- Fluency in English,
- French and / or Spanish as a plus
