Senior Mechanical Engineer
Responsability
• Lead mechanical design for projects such as Data Centers, Laboratories, Academic, Arts & Cultural, Airports, and Commercial
• Experience doing mechanical engineering from conceptual design through construction administration
• Thermal load modeling for projects and utilizing BIM
• Mentor junior staff and teach teams to connect their solutions to bigger picture issues
• Coordinating with multiple subject areas and working in conjunction with project managers
• Attend client meetings and interact directly with clients
• Writing reports for internal and external purposes based on findings
• Presenting technical material in traditional and innovative ways for review by technical and non-technical audiences
• Understanding trends and standard methodologies in the industry
Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering
• 5 or more years of experience designing building HVAC systems, including airside and hydronic system components
• Experience with 3D BIM software such as Revit MEP
• Experience with load analysis software for calculations
• Leading small to medium size projects from a mechanical design perspective
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working
• The ability to prioritize effectively, balance assigned work and exceptional organization skills required for our constantly evolving environment
• Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels

• LEED Accreditation
